SERVICES AND FACILITY USAGE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Health

The safety of your pet is our top priority. All pets must be in good health upon arrival, free from any contagious or communicable illnesses for at least 30 days prior to their visit. Should your pet exhibit any signs of illnesses like diarrhea, vomiting, coughing or sneezing, we may need to postpone their appointment until they are fully well. Additionally, we advise against booking reservations for pets with parasite infestation and terminal illnesses, particularly in advanced stages.

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate any pets with stitches, bandages, casts, head cones, or splints, as they require specialized care that is best provided in a veterinary or hospital environment.

To ensure the safety and well-being of all pets in our facility, we require that all pets must have an up-to-date vaccination:

For Dogs:

Mandatory Vaccinations

  • Rabies

  • DHPPi+L (Distemper, Hepatitis, Para influenza, Parvovirus & Leptospirosis)

  • Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

Important Note:

Intranasal and oral Bordetella vaccinations are usually good for one year. However, we strongly recommend a booster vaccine every six months to ensure maximum protection.

Mandatory Preventative Medications

  • Deworming (Internal Parasites)

  • Ticks & Fleas (External Parasites)

Mandatory Vaccicheck

Vaccines do fail, sometimes! Hence, we require a mandatory vacchicheck as an additional level of security and safety.  This is to make sure that every pet in our facility has sufficient amount of immunity against Distemper, Hepatitis, and Parvovirus. This has to be done 2 weeks after the booster shot. We do not and will not compromise the health and safety of all pets under our care.

Waiting Period

  • If it's your pet's first Rabies and DHPPi+L vaccinations (including booster), a waiting period of not less than 21 days is required prior to entry into our facility.

  • If it's your pet's first Bordetella (Kennel Cough) vaccinations, a waiting period of not less than 14 days is required prior to entry into our facility.

For Cats:

Mandatory Vaccinations

  • Rabies

  • PCH

Additionally, we are unable to accept pets that are pregnant or in season. If your pet requires regular medication, please ensure it is clearly labeled with specific instructions so we can maintain their routine. Our handlers will administer any necessary oral medication at no extra cost. All medications must be in a container with a current prescription label from your veterinarian. You assume full responsibility for the use of any medications or supplements given to your pet with your permission.

You are required to provide a full medical history of your pet. We, ASGARD Pets Nursery LLC, reserve the right to reach out to your specified veterinary clinic to confirm any information provided. Kindly authorize your veterinary clinic to collaborate with us if your pet's condition could pose a risk to other pets at our facility.

We encourage you to notify us of any major health concerns or significant changes in your pet's recent behavior or routine. Your input is essential for providing the best care for your pet.

If your pet has been to any other facility in the last two weeks, please notify us before your arrival. This will help us prevent cross-contamination and the transmission of any viruses from other locations.

Microchip

It is mandatory that all owned dogs and cats in the Emirates of Dubai must have an implanted microchip and must be registered in Dubai Municipality. Additionally, all relevant information must be recorded on the microchip to ensure proper identification.

Behaviour

All dogs must undergo a one-time assessment prior to admittance into our facility to ensure their safety and suitability to a group play environment. Admission into our facility will only be possible if the dog passes the mandatory behavior assessment. We reserve the right to deny entry to our facility for any dogs that exhibit behavior that is likely to disrupt the harmony of the dog groups.

Should your dog start to exhibit unacceptable behavior while in our care, we will remove them from the play area for a time-out. If the behavior continues, we will ask you to collect your dog and come back to us when the behavior issue is resolved.

Dress Code

To maintain a secure and welcoming environment for everyone, we require that:

  • All dogs must be on leash upon arrival at the facility.

  • All dogs must wear a comfortable, flat, quick-release snap-on collar without any dangling tags.

  • No anti tick and flea collars

  • Strictly no prong, spikey, e-collar, metal collars or choke chains in the play and grooming area.

  • All cats must arrive in a suitable and secure crate.

Personal Property

Refrain from bringing any valuable or irreplaceable items with your pet, as they may get damaged or lost during their stay with us. We cannot take responsibility for any such items.

Emergency Contact

You are required to provide us with an up-to-date emergency contact who can pick up your pet in case of an emergency. Please ensure that this information is current to facilitate a swift response if needed. The emergency contact you provide should not be someone traveling with you if you are leaving town. By providing this contact, you agree to allow us to reach out to them if we are unable to contact you. This person should have your full authority to make any decisions regarding your pet, including health-related matters and the expenditure of funds on your behalf. It is important that they are prepared to act in your pet's best interest.

Bookings, Deposits, and Payment

You can book any of our services via phone call, WhatsApp message, email, or through our website. Please be aware that all bookings must be confirmed, and confirmation will be sent to you via email, not verbally. We strictly do not allow walk-ins to prevent overcrowding of pets in the facility.

For boarding, a 50% payment of the total anticipated cost is required in advance and must be made within 48 hours of booking. The remaining balance must be settled on or before your pet's check-in. If any scheduled payment is not made, we reserve the right to cancel the arrangements without prior notice. For all boarding reservations of more than 10 nights, a deposit of AED 1,000 will be required to cover incidentals such as food or unexpected veterinary bills. Any remaining portion of the deposit will be refunded at check-out. Boarding rates are charged on a calendar day basis. If your pet is not collected on or before the specified check-out date and time, current boarding or daycare rates will be applied. Any extensions to the original booking dates during your pet's stay will incur charges based on the rate of the next available room. If we cannot accommodate your pet due to lack of space, it is your responsibility to make alternative arrangements.

Daycare packages are required to be paid in advance and are non-refundable. Until a package is purchased, daycare attendance will be charged at the standard rate. Daycare package credits cannot be transferred to other customers and cannot be used for any services.

No refunds or credits will be issued once a pet has checked in for boarding or daycare.

We work to ensure that a relevant receipt is issued for every payment. If you haven't received it within 24 hours, please inform us, and we will arrange it promptly.

Cancellations

For normal days boarding bookings, the deposit is refundable only if cancellation notice is provided at least 2 weeks prior to the check-in date. For peak season boarding bookings, the deposit is refundable only if cancellation notice is provided at least 4 weeks prior to the check-in date. In case of a no-show, your deposit or any payment made will not be refunded to compensate for the loss of business. In all cases, cancellations must be communicated via email. We will not acknowledge any changes to bookings or cancellations made through any other method.

Food and Mealtimes

We strongly suggest that your pet sticks to its usual diet during their stay with us. We recommend bringing enough of their regular food when you check in to keep them comfortable and happy. This will help any pet, especially those with a sensitive stomach to feel even more at ease during their stay. We request that you pre-portion the food for each meal and provide clear instructions. Should the food you provide did not last for your pet's entire stay, we will provide you with suitable options available in our store. Feel free to bring your pet's favorite treats, but please avoid those made from rawhide or any items that could be a choking hazard. Ideally, we would like your pet to adjust to our mealtimes. If your pet requires feeding at specific times for medical reasons, please let us know. We recommend allowing a minimum 2-hour gap between your pet's meal and their arrival at our facility.

Daycare

Advance booking is required at least 24 hours prior to your check-in date. This ensures that we can accommodate your request and provide you with the best possible experience. We strictly do not allow walk-ins to prevent overcrowding of pets in the facility.

We provide socialization and physical activities for your pet, all under the supervision of our trained handlers.  Additionally, your pet will have plenty of rest according to our routine schedule.

Each of our play and rest areas are equipped with an unlimited supply of filtered water, ensuring that no pet goes thirsty during their stay with us. With your permission, we will occasionally offer treats to your pet during their stay. At check-in, we will let you know which treats are available on that day, and you can inform us whether your pet is allowed to have them or not. Typically, we do not feed daycare guests unless a request is made in advance. If you would like your pet to be fed during their daycare stay, please bring their usual food with you.

Our daycare reception is open from 7 AM to 7 PM on weekdays and from 9 AM to 6 PM on weekends.

If you are unable to collect your daycare pet within our specified opening hours, an amount of AED 500 will be added to your total bill. This is to compensate our team who need to stay overnight with your pet as we currently do not offer a boarding service.

Boarding

Though we provide each pet a cozy and comfortable bed to rest on, we recommend bringing your pet's own bed to help them settle in easily and feel more at home during their stay. Please avoid bringing small toys that could pose a choking hazard, as well as any items with sentimental value as accidents can occur.

Check-in begins at 7 AM and you are welcome to check in your pet at any time during our opening hours. Check-out should be done by 1 PM at the latest. On check-out day, if you collect your pet after 1 PM, an extra charge will be incurred.

We have four different boarding room options: small, medium, large, and a VIP suite. Each pet will be assigned a room based on their size to ensure their comfort. Our VIP suite is spacious enough to accommodate up to four pets, depending on their size, making it perfect for a fun family stay. Boarding will be charged per pet, not per room except the VIP suite which will be charged either by the specific room rate or the number of pets, whichever is higher.

All pets that stay with us for a minimum of 5 nights will receive a complimentary basic grooming package on their check-out day. Should you wish to upgrade the package, please let us know before their check-out day. Additional cost will be applied.

Grooming

All pets availing our grooming service must have an up-to-date vaccination. A proof of vaccination is required.

We do not accept female pets in heat, pregnant, or just gave birth for medical reason.

In a grooming environment, it's important to recognize that some pets may experience stress, particularly senior pets, young ones, overweight animals, or those with medical concerns. To ensure a positive experience, we take extra care to create a calm and soothing atmosphere. However, the grooming process may still expose unknown medical conditions or aggravate a current one during or after the groom. In the best interest of your pet, you agree to grant us permission to seek emergency veterinary treatment if we determine it is necessary. While we will make every effort to contact you prior to taking your pet for treatment, please understand that there may be situations where this is not possible. All medical expenses are the responsibility of the owner, unless we are deemed to be negligent. If your pet is particularly nervous or anxious, we will be gentle and take our time to ensure their comfort. However, if we notice that they are becoming too stressed, we may need to discontinue the grooming session. Please note that you will be charged for all work up to that point.

The welfare of your pet remains your responsibility during the grooming process. Therefore, it is essential to inform us in advance of any relevant behavioral information, medical conditions, or coat conditions. This will help us provide the best care for your pet. If your pet has a skin condition, send us or bring along a medical report so that we can ensure that the condition is neither contagious nor infectious. If you are unable to provide this, we will not be able to accept your pet for grooming until they have fully recovered.

If we are presented with a neglected and severely matted coat and we believe, in our professional opinion, it is more compassionate to remove the coat instead of trying to de-mat it, we will proceed with this action but only with your approval. Once you give the groomer the go-ahead signal, the outcome cannot be contested. Whilst we will make every effort to identify this as part of the pre-groom consultation and coat assessment, there may be instances where the extent of matting is not fully apparent until we begin the grooming process. We will contact you for your approval but if contacting you is unsuccessful, the grooming session will be stopped.

All products used, including all shampoos, conditioners, colognes, etc., are specifically formulated for pets and as such, ASGARD Pets Nursery LLC cannot be held responsible for any adverse or allergic reactions that may occur to your pet. If your pet is found to have ticks and/or fleas during the grooming session, we will pause the grooming process immediately. Our team will inform you of the situation and seek your permission to use a special shampoo designed to treat these issues, which will incur an additional cost. If you would like us to use your own product for grooming your pet, please inform us prior to the scheduled appointment. Should we determine that your product is not suitable for grooming or the well-being of pets in general, we will let you know. We reserve the right to decline or deny service if you insist on using a product that we believe may be harmful.

Although our groomers possess extensive skills and experience in delivering exceptional care for your pets, we cannot be held responsible for any injuries, allergies, or illnesses that may arise during the grooming process, unless is evident that we made a mistake.

Banned breeds and pets with aggression issues are required to wear a muzzle upon arrival for grooming. This ensures the safety of your pet and our staff during the grooming process. In the unlikely event that your pet exhibits unacceptable or dangerous behavior during grooming, the groomer may need to end the session early. This choice is made to prioritize the safety of both your pet and our staff. It will be charged accordingly for all work done up to that point.

We expect to be paid in full for all grooming services before your pet leaves our facility and can only accept bookings subject to availability.

Pets Not Picked Up on Check-Out Date / Abandoned:

If you are unable to pick up your pet on or before the specified check-out date and time, current boarding or daycare rates will be applied. Any extensions to the original booking dates during your pet's stay will incur charges based on the rate of the next available room.

All pets must be picked up within 5 days from the specified check out date. We understand that schedules can change unexpectedly, and we are willing to accommodate for these changes with prior notice. We will do our best to contact you in a timely manner. Failure to respond and(or) pick up pet(s) will result in our abandoned pets’ protocol, and we will need to take necessary action. We may contact the authority, rescue organizations, or put up your pet for adoption. You understand that you may lose ownership of your pet under the said circumstances. If you fail to pick up your pet for any reason,  ASGARD Pets Nursery LLC will not be held responsible for your pet. You shall remain liable to us for all unpaid charges.

Renting Play Area

You can rent our play area with swimming for your dog’s special occasions. All dogs attending your event must have their vaccinations up to date. By renting our play area, you agree to supervise your dog and any other dogs you invite. You will be liable for any injuries or damage caused by the dogs participating in your event. Should any problem arise during your event, you will take full responsibility to cover all the cost for any vet treatment and damage to the premises.

We believe in giving back to the community. That's why 50% of the play area rent will be dedicated to our animal welfare advocacy efforts. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of animals in need.

Liability

We are not liable for any damage or injuries to any pets using our facilities and services, except those resulting from the intentional or negligent actions of ASGARD Pets Nursery or its employees. We will do everything to ensure your pet is kept safe while using our facilities. While we take every necessary precaution to monitor and care for them, the unpredictable nature of animals means that interactions can sometimes lead to unforeseen incidents. In the rare event that such interaction leads to injury to your pet, other pet, or people, and requires a veterinary attention beyond what our facility can provide, we will promptly arrange to take your pet to your preferred veterinary clinic, provided it is within our proximity. We will contact you for permission prior to the admittance, but if we are presented with an emergency where we don’t have time to seek your approval and immediate action is required, your veterinarian’s decision will be considered final. We highly recommend informing your vet that your pet is in our care to ensure a seamless process should we need to seek professional assistance. In the event of a time-sensitive emergency and if your preferred veterinary clinic is located far from our facility, you agree to grant us permission to take your pet to the nearest veterinary clinic. This ensures that your pet receives prompt medical attention when it is most needed.

Release of Liability

You hereby confirm that you are the legal owner of the named pet, and you understand and agree that during normal play, your pet may sustain injuries. You acknowledge all risks and dangers, and you agree to release ASGARD Pets Nursery LLC and its employees from any liability for any illness, injury, death, and/or escape of your pet provided that a reasonable care and precautions are followed. You further agree to waive all rights and claims against ASGARD Pets Nursery LLC or hold us liable for anything that happens on our premises.

You acknowledge and agree to release ASGARD Pets Nursery LLC and its employees from any liability in the event that your pet is injured or injures another pet. You agree to give ASGARD Pets Nursery LLC permission to obtain medical treatment for your pet if he/she appears ill, injured, or exhibits any other behavior that would reasonably suggest the need of medical treatment including but not limited to anesthesia. Additionally, you agree to accept full responsibility for all expenses related to the treatment of your pet and any other pet that may be affected.

You acknowledge and agree that you will not allow your pet to use our facilities and services if you know that within the last 30 days your pet has contracted or is suffering from any condition that could potentially jeopardize the health of other pets or people. You release ASGARD Pets Nursery LLC from any responsibility in the event your pet contracts any transmitted illness while in our facility.

You acknowledge and agree not to bring any items with your pet that are valuable or irreplaceable. You release ASGARD Pets Nursery LLC from any responsibility or liability for any loss or damage to personal items belonging to you or to your pet.

You acknowledge and agree to allow us to take photos and videos of your pet to be used on our social media platforms and website for marketing, advertising, illustration, or promotional purposes without any compensation. You release to ASGARD Pets Nursery LLC all the rights that you may possess or claim to such image, likeness, recording, etc.

You acknowledge and agree to release ASGARD Pets Nursery LLC’s groomers from any liability and responsibility for irritation, abrasion, patchiness, or hair loss due to any pre-existing skin condition, or as a result of the process of grooming, de-matting, thinning, stripping, shaving, or any other mishap caused by non-disclosure of the pet’s medical condition or behavior. Moreover, if your pet’s behavior is the cause of any injury to your pet itself or any staff, you agree to cover any veterinary or medical expenses.

You acknowledge and agree to release ASGARD Pets Nursery LLC from any liability and responsibility for your pet in case of abandonment or you fail to pick them up within the given certain period of time. See “Pets Not Picked Up on Check-Out Date / Abandoned” clause for details.

We reserve the right to refuse access to our facility or any of our services by any animal at any time without warning or reason.
